Rover Mini Cooper 1. 3i cat TROFEO (BRIEF ENGLISH SUMMARY BELOW)\\Registered in Italy in December 1993 and prepared immediately by the renowned Adolfo Romani of Bologna to take part in the first edition of the Italian single-make speed championship on track, Mini Cooper Trophy, organised and run by Peroni Promotion.\To date the car presents itself in perfect usable condition.\The period-spec equipment required to participate in the Trophy included:\Roll Bar MOMO\4-point MOMO harness\Fire extinguisher\Battery disconnect switch\MOMO homologated driver’s seat\Sport steering wheel with its MOMO hub\Seat mounting brackets\Steering column mounting brackets with a hinged joint\Camshaft\Oil pump\Oil radiator kit\Valve spring internals with shims\Skid plate\Complete exhaust with central catalytic converter\Rear camber adjustment plate\Bevelled and drilled brakes of the Bradi type\Brake pads set\4 lightweight alloy wheels 5x12\Kit of extensions to widen the wheel arches\Front lamp covers\Hood pins\Rear tow hook for track use\\An additional instrument pod was also mounted above the dashboard with a central Stack rev counter, water and oil temperature gauges with their respective indicator lamps.\The door panels were replaced with lightweight aluminium sheets and the layout, the true strength of the team, featured the rear axle positioned almost as a cushion and the minimum weight must not have been under 640 kg.\\History and Palmares:\With driver Paolo Cappelli, the car in its first white/ black roof livery ran the entire 1994 championship, securing the world title.\In 1995 the car was repainted in the current blue colour/ livery and Cappelli again competed for a second year, finishing second in the absolute standings.\In 1996 it again participated with the same driver in the single-make championship.\The car raced until 2000, entrusted to other drivers from the Adolfo team, before moving to Rubicone Corse, the workshop of preparer Germano Venturi, continuing to race until 2006, first in the Mini Cooper Trophy and then in the Nuvolari Challenge.\In 2014, after its racing career, the car was entrusted again to Adolfo for a total restoration, maintaining the same period racing configuration.\In addition, the front headlights necessary for road circulation were installed and the setup was slightly modified to make it less extreme.\The livery is that of the 1995 championship.\The car is sold with a double set of wheels and a second setup for slick tyres.\\Documents:\Original first registration plate and logbook.\Technical passport\Press review of various publications in sector magazines.\ASI eligible having had a documented sporting history.\\(ENGLISH )\History and Palmares:\With driver Paolo Cappelli the car, in its first white/ black roof livery, ran throughout the 1994 championship, taking home the world title.\In 1995 the car was repainted in the current blue colour/ livery and Cappelli continued for a second year, finishing second in the overall standing.\In 1996 he again participated with the same driver in the single-make championship.\The car raced until 2000 and was entrusted to other drivers, also from the Adolfo team, before moving to Rubicone Corse, the workshop of preparer Germano Venturi, continuing to race until 2006, first in the Mini Cooper Trophy and then in the Nuvolari Challenge.\In 2014, after its racing career, the car was entrusted again to Adolfo for a total restoration, maintaining the same racing configuration of the time.\In addition, the front lights necessary for road traffic were installed and the setup was slightly modified to make it less exasperated.\The livery is that of the 1995 championship.\The car is sold with a double set of rims and a second setup for slick tyres.
