Description
Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 2 1993... National Origin. It is completely original as it left the factory, all original bodywork points, very well maintained and equally preserved... This rare and beautiful example belongs to the Evo 2 Series. After six consecutive constructors' titles in the World Rally Championship and four drivers' titles, the Lancia Delta became a legend of its time, with names like Miki Biasion, Juha Kankkunen, Didier Auriol and Markku Alén driving the Italian sports car. With an all-wheel drive system developed for the Lancia Delta S4 Group B car, this was the Italian manufacturer's first car with four-wheel drive. The 16-valve engine with double overhead camshafts was retained from the previous evolution. The installed Garrett turbocharger was improved and performance increased. Other engine changes included a new Magnetti Marelli integrated control system. As before, the engine was mounted transversely in front of the front axle, together with the five-speed manual gearbox. The "integrale" in the model designation referred to the permanent four-wheel drive system, a fundamental feature of the model. The traction was split 47% to the front axle and 53% to the rear. Launched at the 1991 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Evoluzione is the ultimate evolution of the Delta HF. This Evoluzione II version, equipped with a 2. 0 turbo engine producing 210 hp, capable of a guaranteed 0-100 km/ h acceleration in 6. 4 seconds, had as its main aesthetic particularity an aggressive design by Giorgetto Giugiaro, a high-end Italian interior with Recaro seats in Alcantara, a MOMO steering wheel, and there were also more innovations on the exterior, which featured an even wider wheel arch to accommodate the new 16-inch wheels. The Evo II version remains the last of Lancia's truly great high-performance road cars. The Evo II was only available in three exterior colors: red, white, and dark blue. The interior was always finished in beige Alcantara. The interior also included a new MOMO steering wheel and standard Recaro bucket seats. The only option available was air conditioning. Production of the Delta HF Integrale Evo II lasted just over a year, during which approximately 2, 500 units were produced. * This advertisement was published automatically; all data requires confirmation with the seller.
