Quite a find, and the nicest older Mondeo I've seen in a very long time.
This 2005 2. 0 (petrol) LX has covered just 50, 000 miles and had just 1 owner from new; a retired chauffeur who has now given up driving due to advancing years. He quite clearly cherished his Mondeo and has had it serviced 20 times at it's supplying main dealer!
Look up the MOT history, it's exemplary with no fails and barely any advisories. The current MOT runs until April 2027.
The condition is absolutely superb too with hardly any scratches or marks inside and out. The tyres are a set of Michelin Primacy's and there are two keys.
Specification includes digital air conditioning, heated front screen, cruise control, electric front windows, electric mirrors, 5 speed manual gearbox, rear wash/ wipe, fully adjustable steering column, drivers seat electric height adjustment, optional rubber boot liner and interior carpet mats, space saver spare wheel, original CD player/ stereo, trip computer.
Although not quite yet a classic this Mondeo takes us back to an era of simpler cars that were capable on the road yet could still be worked on by the home mechanic.
The 2. 0 16v engine develops 145 bhp, which is enough for effortless cruising and 0-60 in 9. 3 seconds along with mid to high 30's cruising mpg. Road tax is £410 per annum.
