Description
The Morris Minor is an economy car produced by Morris Motors between 1948 and 1971. It made its debut at the Earls Court Motor Show, London, in October 1948. More than 1. 6 million were manufactured in three series: the Series MM, the Series II, and the 1000 series.
This Morris Minor Traveller was first registered on the 8th July 1964 in Reading, in more recent times it has spent a number of years in Kent.
The car has been treated to a full nut and bolt restoration with a no expense spared approach. The engine starts and runs very well and sounds very sweet, the ignition system is new as well as the rest of the ancillaries.
The drivetrain is no exception, it drives very well and handles great, the suspension and brakes have been completely overhauled and probably drives better than the day it was made.
The body is very solid, the underside is as clean as the top! There is no corrosion what so ever, all panels have been replaced, including the woodwork and completed to an extremely high standard. The car is not concours but very near immaculate - no stone has been left unturned.
The interior has also been retrimmed during the restoration and remains in good condition.
We have a history file which shows some of the restoration work completed as well as the current V5,
