Description

Well cared for by its most recent owner, with MOTs regularly carried out during his ownership. In more recent years the car has seen very little use due to the owner being unable to drive.

Fuel injected PI model with overdrive.

Driving very well and supplied with a nice history file, including MOT certificates, invoices and manuals.

She is in great condition, drives extremely well and has clearly been very well looked after throughout its life.

The exterior presents well, bright glossy paintwork, chrome is good, the steel wheels are good and fitted with 4 good tyres.

The interior is also in good condition, as are the engine bay, boot, and underside, none of which show any signs of needing immediate attention.

She comes with a standard UK V5 document and can be driven anywhere in the UK without the need for re-registration or import duties. Its long term Northern Ireland ownership also makes it well suited for export to the Republic of Ireland.

Please note she is fast approaching her 53rd birthday and should not be compared to your modern 2, 3 or even 10 year old daily driver. That said, she is in great condition, drives very well and I can see nothing that routine servicing and maintainence would not take care of.

The Triumph TR6 was introduced in 1968 as the replacement for the TR5/ TR250 and became one of the best known British sports cars of the era. Built by Triumph Motor Company, it used a traditional separate chassis with rugged mechanicals and classic rear wheel drive handling.
Styled by German coachbuilder Karmann, the TR6 featured a more modern squared off look while retaining the proven 2. 5 litre straight six engine. UK and European fuel injected PI models produced up to 150 bhp in early form, while US cars used carburettors with lower power outputs to meet emissions regulations.

Production continued until 1976 with almost 95, 000 cars built, the majority exported to the United States. Today the TR6 remains popular for its strong performance, distinctive exhaust note, practicality, and excellent parts availability.

HPI CHECKED – The car has been checked and there is no known outstanding finance, mileage issues, or insurance records of damage or theft.

DELIVERY - We can arrange delivery anywhere in the UK or Ireland at very reasonable rates.
