Finished in elegant Tungsten Metallic with exclusive Amber leather interior, this exceptional Renault 25 V6 Baccara must be one of the finest surviving examples of the marque’s flagship saloon. Having covered just 43k miles from new, the car remains in excellent condition throughout and offers a fascinating glimpse into a period when Renault set out to challenge the established German luxury brands with a distinctly French interpretation of executive motoring.
The car’s condition is a testament to clearly very careful ownership and low mileage, retaining the elegant, understated character that made this model a favourite among business leaders, government officials, and discerning buyers across Europe. The special Baccara alloy wheels and exterior trim all present superbly, contributing to an appearance that is both sophisticated and refreshingly different from its contemporary rivals. The underside of the car is also notably tidy with no rust issues or underseal to report.
INTERIOR
Inside is where the Baccara truly distinguishes itself. Designed as the ultimate expression of French luxury, the cabin combines sumptuous full grain Amber leather upholstery with elm wood trim and lashings of tan Alcantara, creating an atmosphere more akin to a luxury lounge than a conventional saloon car. This example's interior has survived exceptionally well with all the leather, Alcantara, wood trim, carpets, and switchgear presenting in excellent order. The low mileage is immediately obvious, and of course the rich Amber hue is a perfect complement to the exterior paint scheme. All the electric seat adjustments work as they should, the air conditioning is blowing nice and cold, and the 25’s trademark voice synthesiser is fully operational.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Comfortable, quiet, and still very capable on modern roads, the R25 Baccara continues to excel as a luxurious touring car more than three decades after it first left the showroom. Power comes from a smooth 2. 8-litre V6 engine, delivering the refined and effortless performance expected of an executive saloon. Equipped with a slick 5-speed manual ‘box (most were automatic), the car performs extremely well with the distinctive sound and feel that only a naturally aspirated V6 can provide. The engine bay is extremely clean and tidy with no signs of corrosion or previous poor repair. The car was recently serviced in March 2026 and will be freshly MOT’d upon sale for the new keeper’s peace of mind.

It was supplied new by Renault concessionaire, G. Larminaux, in Soissons, France, in January 1989 – and today it boasts only 43, 206 original miles (69, 534 km). The accompanying paperwork comprises the complete R25 document pack with all owner’s manuals including the original stamped service booklet and Baccara supplementary handbook, an original Baccara sales brochure, spare keys, a raft of invoices, and the current V5C registration certificate showing only 1 UK keeper.
