The Honda Valkyrie Rune was built for the American market by Honda to show off their design and engineering prowess. It was one of three proposed concept designs, only one of which was built. A limited run of these bikes was built in 2004-2005. Published numbers range from 1500 to 2000 only. A chrome package was offered which this bike has along with the pull back bars option. The engine comes from the Gold Wing with a different inlet setup. Other than that almost all the other parts on this bike are unique to the Rune. They are reputed to have cost Honda at least USD 100, 000. 00 each to build. This is truly a modern classic. A few of these bikes have made it over the pond. This one was registered new in 2007 in the UK, has 2135 miles on the odometer and is in immaculate condition. You will not be disappointed.
