The Spec
Body: All Steel body Total frame off restoration carried around 2007 to Sept 2008 by Autobahn Inc., Tennessee, Memphis, USA, Truck was painted in GM Lemonwood Yellow Driver Quality Has a few marks not noticeable in all cases and can be rectified ( matched colour ¼ litre supplied) . Mostly All Original Body Parts except New, wings (front fibreglass) NOS rear fenders, Bed Sides, Tailgate, Front panel, side steps. New smoothed Firewall installed Steel Inner panels, Radiator panel, new bonnet hinges & springs. New door hinges latches and strikers with new window winders, runners & risers. Chrome Grill.
All new green tinted kite marked glass. All new glass rubbers & all new felt fuzzies & seals.
It has all new interior & exterior, chrome parts (some Chrome Needs Re-chroming as USA chroming is not great since being in this Country. Front Bumper has a few minor marks from road use. All new side window chrome vents (slight Chrome Tarnish). Billet side step plates presently removed for polishing. Fully dynamated Brand new interior trim, seats, black carpet headliner, sun visors, mirrors internal exterior (some chrome pitting). New interior mirror in ribbed chrome supplied to replace black plastic one.
All new Painless Wiring, All New Dakota Digital 2012 VHX Dash board Hi Tech like Audi R8, kit in blue backlit Beautiful Dashboard with many optional upgrades available via Dakota Digital.
Vintage Air A/ c Heat & defrost, new interior light, switches, Ignition, glove box locks, handles. Crystal Snake Eye High Power Headlamps twin relay controlled. New Headlamp Bezels supplied as ones on there at present pitted
New Raingear 2 speed wiper system, Lokar Throttle pedals. Ididit Chrome column shift, Budnik Stiletto Steering wheel matched bone colour wrap to seat, Lokar shifter cable for smooth trans shift, polished floor mount, led taillights, new front repeater and side lights, new front chrome grill, bumper’s/ lamp bezels external rubbers.
Oak bed wood, all new stainless polished strips, all stainless, new bolts used throughout the build. Firewall mount new GM booster servo. Wilwood brake control valve. Billet spec licence plate holder with number plate light.
Chassis: Completely striped Painted black Driver Quality at present As I live near the Beach Would suggest recoating with Dinitrol as very good product like por15, partially boxed.
New TCI Independent front suspension installed with tubular upper and lower arms (new set of 4 ball joints supplied as near side one is functional but leaky.
Bell tech drop spindles. GM Vented rotors & brake callipers. New CPI not refurbished, Power assisted rack & pinion steering. Polished Type 2, Remote Reservoir, and Power Steering pump. New drive belts. S/ S Braided hoses most parts painted black or natural finish, driver quality. Late model Chevy caprice police car c91 rear axle, installed on no limit engineering leaf springs, and air adjustable shocks, Vented GM Rear brake rotors, & callipers. All new brake lines and fuel lines. New prop shaft. Exhaust aluminium coated system with 40 series delta flow exhaust boxes. Hand brake requires attention.
No limit engineering Aluminium 16 gallon fuel tank with custom filler in bed (earth wire needs to be run from sender to dash for true reading) tank needs to be dropped to do this. New drop down stainless steel battery box which houses 1 optima red Top Gel Tech battery.
With 2nd Red Top optima Internal Battery mounted with new billet battery holder and a secondary Split charge system all new battery cables. Anderson Jump Plug Installed for booster or jump start (AA, RAC ETC ISO) Jumper leads over 10ft long in kit bag.
Engine: New GM crate 350 Chevrolet 4 bolt main 5. 7 litre. Edelbrock 600 cfm Carburettor, electric choke, Performer Inlet. Billet air cleaner. Chrome valve covers. Billet thermostat housing. Water pump, New Chrome 100 amp alternator, sanden a/ c pump vintage air brackets. Hei distributor & 8mm plug wires. Dessert cooler 4 core radiator thermostatic electric fan billet overflow tank billet rad cap Lokar kick down and throttle cables Lokar dipstick. Th400 crate Trans 2400 stall speed converter Lokar Tran’s dipstick b & m Trans cooler chrome pan chrome flywheel cover, tubular drop down cross member. GM Performance Mini Hi Power Starter can be setup at any angle.
