THE CAR 1985 'B' 280CE Pillarless Coupe, Auto, 175, 000 miles, M. O. T. to 14 July 2015, (Tax not trasferable) ABS, PAS, Electric windows, Factory sunroof, N/ S Mirror and Central locking. Metallic Silver/ Blue, Blue cloth interior, 4 new tyres on original Mercedes alloys, Engine, Gearbox, ABS braking and Exhaust are in perfect working order and there are no leaks. All the electrics, including Instrument Panel lights, Interior lights and Boot light. Heater, Rear demist, Immobilizer (Thatcham Category T2), Panasonic Radio/ Cassette and electric aerial all work perfectly. First Aid Kit, spare wheel and jack present. THE DRIVE This is a car that is used regurlaly, on evenings and weekends. It starts first time, every time, there are no leaks from the engine or gearbox, Oil pressure is perfect, even at idle, as is running temperature. Steers, Brakes, Corners and Handles Confidently and Reassuringly. She still turns heads and sounds great. Could do with some TLC. THE PAPERWORK Original service record up-to 122, 000 miles, Service and Maintenance invoices from 1997, M. O. T's from 1996, Spare key and Immobilizer fob on Mercedes Key-fob. M. O. T. to 14 July 2015, Tax to end of October 2014. POINTS TO NOTE ** Drivers seat is worn on entry bolster and seat, the rest is still in good order without rips, as are the plastics and veneers. ** Hood lining above sun visors are slightly creased due to previous water ingress. A new windscreen rubber has rectified this matter. ** Instrument panel roll has cracks. ** Sunroof works, but has been sealed and disabled, as the water channels have perished. ** Plastic surround on interior door lock missing. ** Paintwork is dull and worn on off-side corner of bonnet, some stone chips and age related blemishes to paintwork. ** Rear wheel arches have some corrosion which has been treated. ** Central locking works, Vacuum system leaks overnight but charges as soon as she starts. ** Body work is good and straight ** Drivers door has 5x1cm corrosion, which has been treated. ** Passenger door has 2 paint bubbles approx 3x2cm ** Aerial sticks ** First Aid Kit housing lid is brittle/ cracked (Sun damage) I HAVE TRIED TO LIST EVERY DEFECT, BUT MAY HAVE MISSED SOME. ********************* I AM OPEN TO OFFERS******************** THIS IS AN EVERY-DAY USABLE CLASSIC OR AN EASY PROJECT.
