Never been out in the wet and only used during the summer months.
She is Loud and Lovely and a real head turner when out!
The rebuild and restoration was completed in 2015 which is when the last owner bought the Norton from a local classic bike enthusiast and ex racer who has done such a lovely job as you can see in the photos.
Letter from Norton Owners Club states that this actual motorcycle with frame number M14-74740 was manufactured / assembled and despatched from the factory on 12th July 1957 to the Agent/ Dealership, St Andrews Motor Services of Darlington.
The Norton engine No: 90059 14R which has been fitted to this machine dates from 3rd May 1960 and has a capacity of 596cc commonly called a 600cc.
The Norton Club certificate also quotes that this particular machine has always been a UK machine from new.
Fitted with Electronic ignition. Single carb, Dunlop K181 TT100 Front and Dunlop TT100 Rear tyres, Chrome oil tank, Trumpet exhausts, Borrani ally wheel rims, Stainless spokes and nipples, Braid oil lines, Bronze exhaust flanges, John Tickle fork yolks, Chrome fork springs, Rear set foot controls, Clip on Café racer style handle bars, Vented front twin leading brake shoes, ally oil catch tank, Hagon rear shocks, 12v Battery + optimate lead, Chrome chain guard. Much money and time has been spent creating this fabulous eye catching motorcycle.
