Description
A very rare car. Only 147 made and many gone abroad. This actual car was in the company's brochure as a show car. The make is a JPR Wildcat. it is a 1987 make. I have put a years MOT on it a couple of weeks ago. There is a colour-coordinated hardtop that can be removed very easily on a nice day. It also has a new soft top but needs frame.
The suspension back and front is new, new radiator with new pipe work. New brake calipers and the car is in superb condition. The engine is a powerful V8 3. 5 ltr Rover with new stainless steel exhaust pipes, which sound great.
It is a manual 5-speed gearbox. Because the main body is fibreglass there is no rust and it will not rust. The paintwork is a glistening fire red. Normally these replica Etypes have fibreglass bumpers but this one has polished stainless steel ones all round.
It has 4 in 1 Edelbrock carb (brand new), New Distributor with electronic ignition all 6 dashboard clocks are new ETB's, (the speedo and fuel gauge needs connecting), new header tank for the new radiator which has a custom made stone guard, also electronic radiator fan, all new electric loom, new trackrod ends, nylon bushes, springs, and steering rack.
The “not so good bits”: The petrol tank weeps where the sender fits (about half way up the tank so you can put about 3 gallons in ok. The carb (as it’s brand new) needs setting up better than it is, as it’s too thirsty and would need tuning before driving a distance. As you can see on the youtube movie the engine ticks over nicely and revs as it should.
Don't be put off by the above as I have driven it to the mot station and back, but I want to be up front with the description.
Email me any questions.
I have added three youtube movies
