VW SCIROCCO SCALA limited edition "white"
1987 with a genuine 25, 000 miles from new. 1. 8 carb
OWNERSHIP:
4 Owners from new; first registered keeper, lady owner bought new in Massingberd, North Yorkshire. (5 years ownership).
Second registered keeper, a gentleman from Cleveland who purchased the car for his wife. Unfortunately she lost her confidence driving and so garaged the car where it then stayed for over 20 years until deciding to part with it in 2011. (hence the extremely low mileage & outstanding condition)
Third registered keeper. A VW enthusiast who was local and heard of the car being for sale. Acquired the car for only a short term.
Fourth registered keeper, Myself.
SERVICE HISTORY:
Full documented history with 4 stamps in the book VW dealerships and specialised VW garages. The paper work is minimal but complete. Fully stamped to validate mileage. The car retains all its originality, from the white snow flake alloys to the period Blaupunkt radio, electric arial and period alarm. All work perfectly. Old tax discs present. Original service wallet and booklets. The car still retains its original number plates and dealership sticker on the rear screen. It even has an existing service sticker reminder in the windscreen.
CAR DETAILS:
A truly remarkable car in outstanding condition. Garaged all its life and in my possession, heated with dehumidifier. Possibly the lowest mileage Scirocco of this era available. Having acquired the car in early 2012 I have cherished it and admired it. The unmarked "all white" interior is as good as the day it left the showroom.
As you open the doors, you are hit by the scent of the 1980's like a sweet perfume! All doors shut with the "sounds like a golf" sound. The car sits on its original alloys and tyres. (spare set of alloy wheels and tyres for transporting.
The original front fog lamps have only been removed to avoid stone damage whilst being driven.
It needs to be re-homed to another true enthusiast/ collector.
It will be presented with a new MOT and full service.
