Description
This two-seater coupé called 240Z was the first generation of two-seater Zs coupés produced by Nissan Motors between 1969 and 1978. It was designed by a team led by Yoshihiko Matsuo, Head of Nissan’s Sports Car Styling Studio.
In 1971 Edgar Herrmann won the Safari Rally with a 240Z and Shekhar Mehta, also with a 240Z, ranked second.
In 1973 Shekhar Mehta won the Safari Rally again driving a 240Z and definitely catapulting the car to fame.
This 240 Z was fully restored, has complete photographic register of the restoration process and its in concours condition.
All Portuguese 240Zs came standard with Enkei alloy wheels, front and rear spoilers and 5 speed gearbox.
