This Maserati 3200 GTA was supplied new by Maranello Sales Ltd, Egham, Surrey on the 6th December 2001. The car was serviced by the supplying dealer twice in 2002, the second time at 12172 miles and main dealer Lancaster in Chelmsford serviced the car at 21402, 31548 and 32568. Neal Lucas Ferrari specialists serviced at 44102 in 2005 and in 2006 Graypaul Maserati serviced at 46902. Giallo Performance Specialists took over maintenance in 2007 at 50148, 52365 and 55484 miles and Migliore Ferrari and Maserati specialists serviced the car at 58252, 63853 and 75714 miles in 2013. Between 2013 and 2016 the Maserati has been looked after by Migliore and various other specialists with regular servicing, maintenance and upkeep. The mileage is now 94, 000 and since the last owner bought the car in 2011 an astonishing £22, 500 has been spent on the car.
Having spent over £22500 on the car in five years it's clear the car has been maintenance with no expense spared. Major invoices include a reconditioned engine with Magliore Cars Ltd in 2012 costing over £6, 000, the Maserati has also been treated to tyres, regular services, renewed brakes, overhauled throttle body and basically any recommend work. Invoices for all recent work, and early servicing and maintenance are with the car along with MOT certificates and all original handbooks, service book and wallet.
Our Maserati presents well with lovely straight bodywork and smart paintwork. The leather trim is smartly presented and luxurious, the interior is generally very smart with wear commensurate with the mileage. Seats, headlining, door cards are all in very good order and the does look impressive. On the road the car is incredibly quick with outstanding performance and the gearbox is effortless and really enhances what is a quick, impressive driving experience. The Maserati comes with spare keys, lots of history and it can surely only be a matter of time before these cars begin increasing in value. Last month we spent over £1500 on preparing the car for a new MOT, having to purchase a pair of brand new shock absorbers.
Whilst the car is running and driving superbly, it does have some issues. The dashboard engine management light does occasionally stay on, and the key code light is on all of the time once the ignition is on. We have driven the car to Leeds to be checked on diagnostics with a main dealer and the reported remedy is a new airbag control module and camshaft position sensor. We are selling the car with these faults known and invite offers.
