EXTERIOR
This is a spectacular example of Porsche’s much sought-after 4-litre GT3 RS. Presented in stunning Carrara White the paintwork remains in faultless condition, whilst the contrasting GT Silver decals proudly display its legendary ‘RS 4. 0′ status. Its position very close to the road, plus a steeply-inclined rear spoiler emblazoned with the Porsche name, gives it the look and feel of a full-on racing car, but Porsche’s optional electropneumatic lift system is fitted to the front axle to increase everyday usability.
INTERIOR
The immaculate cockpit immediately reminds you that this limited edition RS was engineered with performance at the forefront of its design, however this interior still offers all modern day-to-day considerations. There are no unsightly marks to the seats, and the interior trim is free from chips or marks; inclusive of sill strips, gearbox tunnel and pedal box. The lightweight bucket seats are in black leather with alcantara inserts, and the three-spoke sports steering wheel is also clad in alcantara with a red top-centre marking.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The GT3 RS’s 4-litre engine is the largest and last of the mezger engine 911s. It provides jaw-dropping performance, and when combined with the six-speed manual sports transmission, an incredible driving experience to be admired for many future generations to come.
This original engine is in fine fettle having just passed a 111 point check as well as a full rev range report and analysis. The car also recently received a 1 year transferrable warranty issued by Porsche Centre Böblingen, Germany until February 2018.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The GT3 RS is fitted with distinctive 19-inch ten-spoke alloy wheels – on this example they are coloured in matching Carrara White and are in perfect condition. The wheels are clad in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres front and rear with plenty of tread remaining. Brakes are in excellent condition with all four corners maintaining plenty of pad material and show good disc life.
HISTORY FILE
1 of 600 limited edition cars worldwide this car was supplied new on 16/ 01/ 2012 to which it has benefitted from just one careful previous owner and presents in immaculate condition.
Having been looked after by Porsche Zentrum Wuppertal, this RS 4. 0 has been maintained regularly within manufactures guidelines and has covered less than 1000kms since its last service. With a recent 111 point check and Porsche Warranty until February 2018, this legendary 911 presents in perfect mechanical health and is ready to be enjoyed by its next custodian.
