PYU 554 is a genuine UK RHD BN1. Built in 1955 the car has remained in the UK throughout its life. Purchased in 2011 in Birmingham the previous owner had owned the car since the late 1960’s. The car was found to be fitted with a genuine factory Le Man kit. Documentation from the owner confirms that the car was returned to the Donald Healey works to have the P280 (Le Mans Kit) fitted.
The nut and bolt restoration was completed in 2014 by marques specialist Gerald Stephenson. The original chassis and inner structure were restored. The car retained all its original outer body panels. The engine was full rebuilt, balanced and gas flowed by engine specialist Richard Parker. The car was painted in the Healey colour of Reno Red. All original components were re-used on the rebuild where possible. The car is supplied with Documented and photographic record of the restoration along with detailed history file.
Supplied with original green logbook. Current UK V5C registration document, Original logbook, Heritage certificate, and a detailed folder of previous invoices and past History. The car also retains its original chassis & body plates.
