1984 Austin Mini City with a Swiftune / Cooper twist! This is a very charming mini which has been created with a passion over the last 12 years, by its past owner who is a true mini fan. It is an interesting and different mini which make it very appealing and special. The spec is as below:
Original 998 + engine with Swiftune SW5-07 cam and new followers, Swiftune oil pump, Swiftune Vernier duplex kit, 12G295 Cooper cylinder head fully rebuilt by Mini Sport to their stage 2 spec. Maniflow Cooper freeflow exhaust manifold, RC40 Millennium stainless exhaust system, twin HS2 carbs fully rebuilt including spindle re-bore, custom made billet stub stacks, K&N cones. Gaz lowered adjustable dampers front and back, genuine Mini Spares HiLo's, Red Spot cones, Maniflow L148 tubular steel inlet manifold. Distributor with Aldon Ignitor and custom advance curve by Aldon. Cooper 'S' front disc conversion with genuine new AP callipers, EBC pads, Stainless Goodridge hoses throughout, New master cylinder, Silicone fluid, Adjustable brake bias valve, Genuine Super Minifin alloy rear drums. Oval three instrument centre binnacle conversion with Smiths gauges (oil pressure and water temp) Smith's electronic tachometer. 10 inch Minilite wheels on Yokohama tyres. Newton Commercial carpet set, Newton commercial sun visors, Newton Commercial headlining. The end result is a great drivers car with very positive cornering and the ultimate sound track of stainless steel exhaust combined with twin carb induction! I have a complete history file including all of the bills, original fully stamped service book (12 stamps), rolling road report (59 BHP), a copy of Mini World November 2011 where it has a 4 page feature. The past owner has kept a detailed log of all of the work carried out which is 22 pages of A4 which also comes with the car.
