A 1977 Honda 400/ Four Super Sports, registration number SBY 280R, frame number CB400F-1068223, engine number CB400F-E1064020, red. The middleweight 400/ Four was one of Honda's most successful machines of the 1970s. They appealed to both mature riders and were in effect a scaled down version of the iconic 750/ Four. This example comes direct from a private collection and is presented in restored condition. It has recently benefitted from a new battery and has passed its most recent MOT on 28 July with two advisories; front wheel bearings are slightly rough; and front wheel bearings have slight free play.
