The Datsun Sunny B110, also known as Datsun 1200, represents the second generation of the Sunny and was launched in 1970. This new model was slightly larger than its predecessor, B10 – also known as Datsun 1000, to better face the big rival On the market, the equally popular Toyota Corolla.
The Sunny B110 featured “MacPherson” front suspension, front disc brakes as an option and an economical 1171cc engine called the A12.
In April 1970 Datsun unveils the «GX» version, the initials of «Grand Luxury», equipped with Hitachi double carburettors and exclusive interior and exterior equipment. The «GX« was only available as a «4-door sedan»’ and «Coupe», and only the right-hand drive (RHD).
This Sunny B110 GX «4-door sedan» has been completely restored and is in very good condition. It came from South Africa in 1982 and was converted to left-hand drive (LHD).
