Description
The Ensign was the economy Vanguard, with the wet liner engine, scaled down from 2088cc to 1670cc. This is a first class car, with a new respray of powder blue, which was a Standard production colour. The car has had a complete overall, which included, new clutch, engine rebuild, rear axle & springs removed, new oil seals. New battery, over £300 spent on rebuilding dynamo & starter motor, also new regulator, and a conversion to negative earth. New front & rear windscreen rubber seals fitted. New Radio/ cassette player fitted. Visor & Seat belts & Five new tyres, fitted. Lots of bills, workshop manual. Excellent runner. MOT exempt & no tax to pay.
The car still has its original "Nottingham" registration and has been waxoiled & undersealed. I have done approx. 1000 miles last year to lots of shows, I need the space, so I have had to drop the price. The car is ready for the coming season.
