This 3. 2L V8 injection XJ8 left the production line in 2001 and so does not have Nikasil cylinder coatings that could suffer damage by acid effects of Sulphur petrol available in earlier years. This year’s production was steel offering exceptional compression life. Engine number decodes to build date 20th April 2001.
