An honest, well cared for late model 944 s2 coupe. 128, 000 miles and a car which was over engineered by Porsche in its day! It has never let me down, can only go up in value, unusual rare colour (cyclamen red), garaged since 2000. I never expected to sell this car and it was as much an investment for me as well as a weekly driver! In my two year ownership I have changed the following as I like my cars to run as they were designed and being 26 years old these changes were necessary and will be on any 944 you buy due to their age. If they haven’t been changed then account for the fact you will have to change them thus better to buy a car which has had it all done.
When I bought it I had the legendary Chris Turner give it a full service as well as gearbox oil change and brake fluid change totalling over £500. 00 (September 2015)
Sent it into Jaz Porsche specialist the following year (June 2016) and replaced cam belt, and balance belt, rollers, water pump, refilled and bled coolant system, replaced brake pads, rear calliper plates, replaced polyrib belt and psa belt etc (£1660. 49)
November I this year I uprated the suspension and fitted gaz performance fully adjustable in height and stiffness along with new rear back box (Dansk), new up rated disks and pads as well as braided hoses all done by my local Porsche specialist
In march this year I put in a new clutch kit along with clutch master and slave cylinder also replacing front wishbone and wheel bearings and had the car wheel alignment done not to mention an oil change for good measure! The car has it original tool kit, service book fully stamped and even its sunroof leather holder rare to find 26 years on!!
The car has good sills which were the first thing I inspected (original sills along with its original spec sticker in the rear) and has since been wax oiled, had a new blue tooth stereo, new alternator and 4 new tyres on refurbished D90s.
The car has just had a fresh MOT with no advisories! So much more love has been put into this car too much to list. Every light and window has the number plate etched on it now that you do not see on many cars nowadays even 944's! This car is a special car and the first Porsche I ever bought but it wasn't my last and now I have 2 projects I have bought which although addicted and I could keep this I just can’t drive them all. I never thought I would sell it hence the spend!! I must have spent £5000 on this car in the last 2 years I've owned it! It has been my daily driver (apart from my smart car) and is such fun to drive i spared no money on getting this car tip top! I have the certificate of authenticity from Porsche along with a guaranteed valuation of £12000!! The paperwork is thick on this car - fully serviced and loved by each of its owners! It took me almost a year to find! I'm sad to see it go but excited to start a project too I have to be realistic is what I keep telling myself! Serious buyers only and I have priced it well so no silly offers as i'm quite happy to put away for a bit longer and sell for more next year!
