Here we have a genuine Series 2 Land Rover, not the more common 2a.
Registered as YHR 820 on 1st June 1961 in Wiltshire.
The reg number is valuable and transferable but it would be a shame to part them after 56 years!
Very low owners from new, only 2 former keepers.
V5 document up to date and present.
Tax exempt and will be MOT exempt from next May.
Comes with old MOTs back to 2002 to 2011.
This was last on the road in 2011 and only stopped being used due to the wiring loom melting!
Marine Blue which makes a nice change to Bronze green!
Chassis looks solid and will not need much work if any.
Bulkhead solid up top, needs footwells but could be used as is.
The correct 2. 25 petrol engine turns over well with 4 good compressions on the starting handle.
Obviously not running due to needing a new wiring loom!
Wiring looms can be obtained from Autsparks at a very reasonable price or do it yourself as they are not complicated.
Excellent tyres all round.
Stainless exhaust system fitted which looks excellent
All complete not molested and ready for recommissioning or full restoration.
Very difficult to find nice Series 2 projects now.
