Fresh in from the USA this beautiful 1978 Honda Gl1000 Goldwing, which was the penultimate year of the 1000. Mileage is 29282, and it has obviously cared-for very well over it’s life as paint, chrome etc are excellent (there is a crack in the R/ H side panel). The exhaust are very nice with no holes or rot and it starts and runs fine. The water does suggest that a head gasket failure may have taken place, as oil contamination is present. Although we have not investigated this further. Fix that and you have an excellent and head-turning average GL1000 as your reward. Comes with a US title.
The Motorcycle is not UK registered, but paperwork is supplied (NOVA) to register it on a UK age related plate to show all duties have been paid. All you will need to add to this is insurance, MOT, Dating Certificate and the DVLA £55 first reg. fee. Full written instructions are supplied on how to register the machine and how to obtain a dating certificate. The procedure is very simple and easy to follow.

Collection
You are very welcome to collect in person or have your bike delivered. All Bikes must be paid for within 7 days, and must be collected within 14, after 14 days all bikes carry a storage charge of £7. 50+VAT.
