motodrome are pleased to offer this 2004 Mini Cooper S JCW (R53) finished in Metallic Grey with anthracite half leather sports interior trim.
Pre-2005, they weren’t supplied by the factory as JCW’s, but were retrofitted as such by a Mini franchised dealer.
Apart from the John Cooper Works tuning kit, it’s fitted with the JCW sports brake option too, plus all the correct JCW kickplates etc.
Also fitted with a decent Sony stereo with USB port.
Odometer reading 99500 miles – last serviced Oct 16 at 97443m.
In late 2015 it enjoyed further fettling at renowned specialist MiniSpeed, and was subsequently dyno’d at 217 bhp – pretty healthy for a then 12-year old engine, and it still performs riotously when asked to do so. At the time, Minispeed also checked the timing chain, guides and sprockets for wear, and found them to be as new. They’ve thus clearly been replaced, but we don’t have a bill for that (although we have the above statement in writing from MiniSpeed)
MOT’d to June 2018, and comes with 6m warranty too.
It drives absolutely faultlessly with excellent performance and handling.
