1970 Morris Mini MK 2 998 Cooper In Island Blue with a white roof. This is one of the last 60 MK 2 Coopers to be made and is in very nice condition with a well restored body. The underside is all blue and it is very clear to see the quality of the workmanship. It has its correct period sills, hydro elastic suspension and immaculate subframes. The doors fit well and close nicely which is always a challenge with the 60s minis. The engine bay is very clean and original and the engine runs very well. It has air horns which sound great and look to be made by Maserati. The interior is immaculate and correct with refurbished seats which support you well. It has Cooper S front disc brakes and steel drilled wheels on Yokohama tyres which give a great look to the car. The boot is clean and tidy with a nice boot board and period tool bag. I have a nice history file and a photo album showing the restoration. There is a Heritage certificate showing that it has matching numbers. It does not show the original body colour and there is evidence on a past log book that it was once Tartan red with a black roof. I have copies of every past log book from new.
