The E30, also known as 3 series, was designed by Claus Luthe in 1978, the same designer of the NSU Ro80.
With a very similar design when compared to it's predecessor, the E30 presents a more modern design and at technically has many significant improvements, namely in the suspension that tried to reduce the oversteer issue that was much criticized in the E21.
This second generation of the 3 series also presented as novelty the four door saloon version, and later, in 1991, the «Touring» version (station wagon).
In 1985 the E30 underwent the first «restyling», which incorporated minor exterior and interior changes, and replaced the 323i with an improved and more powerful 325i.
This 325i has a cosmetic kit «M-Technic», is an original Portuguese license plate car, has been restored and is in excellent condition.
