EXTERIOR
The Boxster is a modern tribute to the artistry and innovation that defined the legendary Porsche 550 Spyder; agile, elegant and lightweight. The Arctic silver bodywork hosts one or two obvious minor cosmetic defects, although they in no way detract from the overall presentation; clean, consistent and with a uniform lustre throughout.
The hood presents with no cosmetic defects whilst operation is swift and quiet.
INTERIOR
The optional black leather is in fine cosmetic order; soft, supple and maintaining excellent contour and shape.
The driving position is first class with the waistline of the bodywork relatively high, so feels very snug even with the roof lowered.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
At the heart of the Boxster’s lies it’s namesake boxer engine – the 3. 2 water-cooled flat-six has real character, with a distinct sound that gets better the higher you climb the rev range. The central exit amplifies the six cylinder warble beautifully, nestled snugly into the rear bumper arrangement.
Out on the road the car is totally immersive and rewards even the most experienced driver, whilst being wholly approachable the tactility and partnership between steering and drivetrain remains deeply impressive.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 18 inch Double spoke wheels present unmarked with a sparkling finish. Matching Michelin N1 Pilot sport rubber provides the perfect contact patch for both wet and dry conditions.
The vibrant red calipers present in excellent cosmetic and operational order, with discs / pads showing plenty of life.
HISTORY FILE
Serviced as per manufacturer guidelines every two years, the first 4 stamps in the book are from supplying dealer OPC Hatfield with specialists thereafter. The last service, a Minor, was performed at 26, 279 miles by Porsche Torque who also changed the brake fluid. All invoices are present and correct from new alongside the original Order Form for over £34k.
All MOT certificates are also present alongside a complete book pack and the spare key.
