EXTERIOR
The X-Power Grey Metallic exterior paint is in first-class condition on this MG ZS TD 115. The paintwork is in great order and has lovely depth and clarity throughout. The paintwork has not faded anywhere with age and it is in remarkable condition for the mileage. There is no rust, blemishes or scratches. All light lenses and trim retain a fresh appearance. –The front headlamps have been removed and reconditioned which now result in both headlamps looking new, but also now have much better night illumination. Both rear d-pillar union jack badges have also been replaced and we have recently Waxoyled all the insides of the doors and rear quarter panels.
INTERIOR
The interior on this ZS is in great order. The Gunsmoke Alcantara is in an unworn condition throughout. The carpet, trim, switches are all in great condition. The dashboard and centre console are also in equally fine condition, with no cracks or sun damage to be found. The carpets are in an unworn state and have been protected from new with original MG overmats. These too are also in lovely condition. The interior ride quality of this car has been transformed, and is much quieter when cruising due to fitting sound deadening and extra high density foam membranes to all the doors and inner rear quarter panels.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This MG ZS TD 115 is powered by MG’s 2. 0-litre diesel engine, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The economy on this car is simply amazing and would make a fantastic economical daily driver for someone looking for something more unique. The car performs and drives as it should do, with the gearbox and clutch working very crisply. The engine bay is totally original throughout. We have just modified and fitted an additional heater to the cooling system as the vehicle was taking a while to warm up in colder weather –the car now heats up much quicker and makes it a much more enjoyable experience to be in. In addition, we have carried out an induction clean, complete with engine flush and oil and filter change and this car also benefits from a new premium battery.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 17-inch alloy wheels are in great condition and are shod in a set of brand new tyres. We have also replaced the front brake discs and pads and also both brake callipers have been shot blasted and painted.
HISTORY
This MG ZS TD 115 was first registered in January 2005 and has invoices and MOTs supporting the mileage and condition of the vehicle. The car comes complete with spare key and history file. With the recent maintenance and improvements we have carried out on this example, this alone amounts to over £1, 500 being spent! This car has therefore been maintained properly and is ready to be enjoyed on our roads.
