"Introduced in 1976, the 911 Carrera 3. 0 featured wider rear fenders than the previous 2. 7, as well as a range of optional extras. They were also equipped with the gearbox and the carter in aluminium, instead of the previous magnesium. The engine was basically the 3. 0 Turbo engine, without the turbo and with a K-Jetronic CIS injection. Few were made, especially the Targa, which makes them the targets of a great demand on the part of the classic car collectors"
