The TVR Chimeara was produced from 1993 until 2003. Various tuned versions of the Rover V8 were offered, the largest being the 5. 0 litre 500 with a claimed 340bhp and 0-100 time of just over 10 seconds. The chassis was shared with the harder edged Griffith but the Chimeara was slightly softer sprung and more spacious inside.
This car is a 1998 TVR Chimeara 500 in silver with black leather trim and factory power steering. It has covered a correct 45, 000 miles from new with a comprehensive history (some TVR, come specialists). It had a complete engine rebuild at 35, 000 miles. It is in A1 condition throughout. We have just fitted a new radiator and battery and had the alarm reprogrammed with new fob.
These beautiful and uncompromising cars are starting to climb in value but at the moment they still offer great value for money. This one is ready to use.
