We have this lovely Y-registered '82 Daimler Double Six which starts, runs, drives and stops. Its the ideal base for a rolling restoration. The car is complete and has one of the sweetest running 5. 3 V12 engines we have come across.
Sharing the same bodyshell as the Jaguar XJ12, the Double Six had different brightwork and was generally acknowledged to be a softer, even more classy, version of the Jaguar. The very well tried 5312cc V12 engine and gearbox was shared with the XJ12 giving a very respectable performance for this luxury saloon.
We have listed this car as a project because it will need work for the MOT, but is far too good to break. The Series 3 XJ and Daimler cars are rising in value as they become shorter in availability, and we think they will be a very sought-after classic in the near future.
At present this car represents extremely good value for money. We recommend an appointment to view because we can make no promises or guarantees for project cars. The car is located in our storage facility near Kings Lynn.
