1948 Norton ES2. V5C Present. Restored condition, runs absolutely great. Easy starter and engine sounds fab. The bike is fitted with girders and a Brooklands can and is made to look a touch like a garden gate Inter. Loads of money spent. I am told.......(and am happy to be corrected) that you could still order bikes with girders as an option in 48. I know they were still using them up on side valve models.... but do not usually see them on OHV models..... but as I say.... I was told they could still be ordered.... as an option.... and so the theory goes these could have been on from the beginning. That's the story...... decide yourself if you believe it. Either way, it is a great bike. Looks great, sounds great, and is ready to go. It lights up, is charging and runs spot on. Look at the pictures.... paint and chrome work all good. This bike really looks the part
