Description
The Austin A35 van was launched in 1956 and remained in production until 1968, nearly 10 years after the saloon had been replaced by the A40.
This van is a 1961 A35 in Island Blue. It is the last of the early fronted “Wallace and Gromit” style models with trafficators rather than indicators. This is an older restoration that remains in beautiful order. It has been little use since restoration other than trips to various shows and several plaques and trophies come with it. The body and paint finish are excellent and the underside is body coloured – please see the additional photos. The under-bonnet is finished to show standard, the rear load area is in pristine order and there is a useful rear seat fitted. Recently the van has been stored and little used so we have carried out some minor re-commissioning. Not fitted but with the van is anew carpet set.
