You are invited to purchase this 7 year labour of love built Austin works twin cam single seater racer replica .
Engine spec :
It is fitted with a New 750cc Pigsty supercharged engine with a 4 speed close ratio gearbox which has had only running in time on the dyno . Internals are phoenix rods , crank and camshaft. no expense has been spared on this little gem of an engine.
Body work :
This is a true work of art hand beaten and rolled full Aluminium body by the infamous Rod Yates finished with other hand crafted aluminium strengthening panels hand riveted along with the correct works green special spray job .
Interior :
A beautiful cluster of period looking instruments but with modern technology , The steering wheel is again a real period looking Ally on wood type aided with a discreet quick release boss for ease of getting in and out .
the seat and side panels have been custom made to suit the car and again have been made beautifully.
Chassis, Running gear , suspension etc :
All work carried out by FRD ( Friend racing developments )
Based on a solid Austin ruby chassis this has been strengthened and worked to suit . The rest of the suspension and brakes etc have been made to the highest standard with no expense spared what so ever to replicate the original car .
The wheels are the correct 16 inch size with the ridge style knock on hubs completed with a brand new set of Dunlop Racing tyres.
It is simply stunning in every detail and i have never seen one even close to how good this looks . You will fully understand when you see this car... simply stunning .
This car is ready to race/ hill climb competitively .
A fully documented album has been made throughout this 7 year labour of love build.
