EXTERIOR
The X-Power Grey Metallic exterior paint is in wonderful condition on this ZT. The paintwork is in great order and has lovely depth and clarity throughout with a "wet-look" shine throughout. It is clear that this example has been cherished by each owner and has been enthusiast owned. The paintwork has not faded anywhere with age and there is no rust, blemishes or scratches. All light lenses and trim retain a fresh appearance.
INTERIOR
The interior on this ZT is in beautiful condition. The Black Leather is in an unworn condition throughout, with the rear seats looking like they have never been sat in! The carpet, trim, switches are all in great condition. The dashboard and centre console are also in equally fine condition, with no cracks or sun damage to be found. The carpets are in an unworn state and have been protected from new with original MG overmats. These too are also in lovely condition. The interior is a wonderful place to be and feels extremely luxurious, especially when cruising along with the sound of the thundering V8 up front.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This MG ZT SE 260 V8 is powered by Ford's 4. 6-litre V8 engine, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The car performs and drives as it should do, with the gearbox and clutch working very crisply. The engine bay is totally original throughout and is in lovely order. Nothing seems to be of effort for the glorious V8, with plenty of power and refinement at all times. The exhaust rumble of the mighty V8 is very throaty, yet without being intrusive, all this make one want to enjoy and drive this wonderful car.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 18-inch alloy wheels are in original condition and are shod in a set of nearly new Yokohama tyres.
HISTORY
This MG ZT SE 260 V8 was first registered in November 2004 and has invoices and MOTs supporting the mileage and condition of the vehicle. The car comes complete with spare key and history file. This particular example is only 1 of 384 and in fact only 1 of 84 finished in X-Power Grey. Examples such as this are becoming difficult to find, especially in an original state such as this. This car has therefore been maintained properly and is ready to be enjoyed on our roads.
