EXTERIOR
The Pewter Grey paintwork is in lovely condition on this MG BGT. The whole car looks very original and has some age-related patina. It is evident that this example has been looked after, with the paintwork still shining to a lovely finish and most importantly, there is no rust. There are no dents or unsightly scratches throughout. Likewise, all light lenses and trim retain a fresh appearance. This car has a unique charm and viewing is highly recommended.
INTERIOR
The Striped Grey Cloth is in lovely condition, with some age-related patina. The carpet, trim, switches are all are very fresh looking. The interior is in lovely original condition, with the seats being unworn and still retain a lovely lustre. The seat bolsters are just as great and are free from any scuffs or sagging. The dashboard and centre console are also in equally fine condition, with no cracks or sun damage to be found. The carpets are unworn throughout.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This MG is powered by a 1. 8-litre unit, mated to a manual gearbox and performs as it should. The car idles beautifully and drives extremely well for the age. The engine bay is completely original throughout with no rust or unsightly areas throughout.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The wheels are in lovely condition and are shod in a tyres all with good tread.
HISTORY
This MG BGT was first registered in February 1981 and comes with old MOTs, invoices, owner’s handbook and spare keys. This particular example has a detailed breakdown clearly stating what has been carried out on this vehicle from new right up until now. The previous owners of this vehicle have also been documented. This car has therefore been maintained properly and is ready to be enjoyed on our roads.
