The Appeal

Der ‘C’ war der letzte und fortschrittlichste der Porsche 356, eingeführt fürs Modelljahr 1964, als der ganz neue 911 gerade aus dem Startlöchern kam. Der 356 C verfügte über Scheibenbremsen, Radialreifen und mehrere subtile Modifikationen, die ihn von seinen Vorgängern abhoben.

Dieses Exemplar aus dem Jahr 1964 wurde restauriert und leicht modifiziert, um das Aussehen und das Gefühl eines periodischen Wettbewerbswagens zu vermitteln. Die Stoßstangen wurden entfernt, das Fahrwerk tiefergelegt und ein Sportauspuff eingebaut, um dieses charakteristische luftgekühlte Grollen zu verstärken.

Der Verkäufer lagert das Auto in einem Museum und fährt es sparsam, schätzungsweise 50 Kilometern pro Jahr. Das Auto ist derzeit in Deutschland straßenzugelassen und obwohl es momentan keinen TÜV hat, ist der Verkäufer zuversichtlich, dass es ohne Probleme bestehen würde.

Die verschiedenen Modifikationen machen dieses 356 C zu einem sehr nutzbaren Auto, und wir mögen, dass es ein paar kleine Unvollkommenheiten gibt; man wird keine Scheu haben, es so zu fahren, wie Porsche ursprünglich vorgesehen hat. Silber passt wirklich gut dazu, und wir lieben den de-bumpered Look. Das Innenraumkonzept ist besonders schick, und wir freuen uns über die dezente Ergänzung des Moto-Lita-Lenkrads.

This 356 has a great stance thanks to the lowered suspension, ensuring the wheelsand tyres look perfectly proportioned within the arches. The vendor points out that besides the suspension and conversion of the brake hoses are chrome flex, the car’s modifications are purely aesthetic. Its engine and gearbox remains mechanically original, providing an authentic 356 C experience.

Reportedly running well, we’re informed that Porsche is ready to enjoy and the vendor is confident that it’ll readily pass TÜV if required.
