This 2007 W463-generation Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG is a tastefully specified example from the legendary ‘Kompressor’ era, blending iconic military-grade heritage with hand-built AMG performance and refinement. Finished in black with chrome trim elements, grey 18-inch AMG alloy wheels and a black leather interior with elegant wood inlays, it has an appealing specification, which has been enhanced further with an updated Alpine head unit.

First registered in May 2007, this example was imported to the UK by the current owner from Dubai and re-registered with the DVLA in June 2017. Currently on SORN in the UK, its last MOT test was completed in January 2020 at 124,379 km, which was a first-time pass with no advisories, though this has now expired, and a fresh MOT test will be needed before the car returns to UK roads. Since 2020 the car was used sparingly in Europe especially in Spain and Portugal. The images supplied show temporary Spanish trade plates, with the odometer showing 133,868 km. It had a major service by Mercedes in Seville about a year ago and has been in storage since apart from very minor trips around the Sotogrande estate. The owner has a fleet of over 50 cars and is now doing a little “thinning out” but reports that this car has known faults inside or out, starts first time very time and is good working order throughout – both mechanically and body work.

This car should prove to be a stylish and practical daily driver for its next owner, as well as a rugged off-road companion.
