Beschreibung
Built between 20th – 28th February 1962 USU 884 is a very late, final production Mark II car finished in Colorado Red with a Red interior and Red carpet. Highly specified from new this car includes its original rare triple carburettor setup, wire wheels, overdrive, a heater, adjustable steering column and leather seating.
Restored shortly before 1990 and with just 65, 500 original miles, this MkII has been known to us since the early noughties. In 2003 we converted the car to RHD with a leather dashboard plus major service at the same time. Since then the car appears to have been regularly maintained with the engine giving very strong performance, the gearbox functioning wonderfully and the overdrive swift in operation.
The car has been lovingly owned by the present keeper for the last 30 years and remains in good condition with few cosmetic issues. The interior seating is in good condition free from rips, but the carpet is a little faded (although inexpensive to later replace). Overall USU 884 is a nice to drive and presentable Healey ripe for regular use.
Supplied serviced with MOT, British Motor Heritage Certificate of Authenticity, large paperwork file including history, restoration documentation/ photos, original owner’s handbook plus period books and charts.
