BODY RESTORED 2005 – New rear wings, inner outer sills, nearside front wing, front panel, passenger door. Bare metal respray – 16 coats.
ENGINE REBUILT 2005 (approx 4200 miles since)
1818cc rebore.
Crank re-ground and balanced to 7000rpm.
Flywheel & backplate lightened and balanced.
Flywheel modified to prevent clutch oil contamination.
Cylinder head ported, valves re-seated.
Bespoke Highlift Camshaft by Kent Cams.
Twin 1 ¾” gas flowed SU’s with K&N Filters.
RC40 single box silencer exhaust system.
High energy coil with iridium plugs.
Fast road electric fuel pump (needed!).
Extra crank vents with filters to reduce blow-by and crank pressure.
Twin radiator fans on dashboard remote switch.
New Brake discs and all copper pipes.
New radiator
2008/ 2009 – New ~ battery, starter motor, alternator, distributor, electronic ignition, , steering rack and ends, both drive shafts + CV joints + hubs (both 2nd hand hubs) and new bearings, ball joints, suspension pumped and new tie bars and bushes.
2009 - New Gearbox plus third motion shaft bearing and clutch plate, slave cylinder, hose and master cylinder (used but fairly new). Cam re-shimmed.
0-56mph clocked at 6. 9 secs (top of 2nd gear).
