1927 Austin 12/ 4 Clifton Tourer
One of the most enduring designs of the Vintage period, the Austin 12/ 4 epitomised the sturdy family car of the 1920s. It’s production in fact ran into the mid-30s due largely to its enviable reputation for reliability and quality.
This example resided in South Africa until being repatriated and registered in the UK in 2016. Restored to a very good standard prior to returning home she presents extremely well, finished in the correct shade of Austin blue. Weather equipment is in very good order and there is the desirable extra of an Auster rear screen, making passengers more comfortable.
A very smart and well restored example of one of the most recognised and much-loved Vintage motor cars.
Large, comfortable vintage tourers are becoming increasingly hard to find without spending considerably more than the asking price of this motor car.
She drives very well with a sweet running engine and is ready to enjoy.
