The Appeal
Replacing the 328 was never going to be easy. The 348 channelled the aesthetics of the Testarossa to deliver a thoroughly updated mid-engined supercar that is increasingly well-regarded by enthusiasts.
From 1993 onwards, the car got some useful revisions that made these later cars more powerful and agile. This car is one of those cars, finished in Nero Carbonio over cream. It is a tasteful and subtle alternative to the more common Rosso and very rare too - just 6 of the 68 UK RHD 348s were so finished.
This car comes to market after passing through the hands of high-end collectors. It has covered less than 42,000 miles from new. The current keeper acquired it in 2018 after it had been in storage for five years. He immediately sent it to marque specialist SMDG for recommissioning. The same workshop has continued to maintain it, most recently undertaken clutch work in 2023 and further servicing and fettling in February 2024. The bonnet struts were replaced in 2022 and the windscreen in 2024.
With extensive known history back to this UK market car’s earliest days, this car has great provenance. It comes to market with the added reassurance of a long MOT to June 2026 with no advisories on test.

Nero Carbonio was an unusual choice when the 348 was new, with just six are believed to have been supplied in RHD. As the photos of this car show, it is a wise and tasteful choice that works well with the 348’s Testarossa-esque lines.
This car is very well kept, wearing its 31 years extremely lightly. There are some light stone chips to the bonnet and slight wear to the driver’s seat, both typical of the mileage and could be easily remedied by the buyer if required.
