We feel the only time a Landy looks better than when painted green is when plastered with mud. This example is, for the moment, as clean as a whistle having been subject to a bare metal respray in the in factory-correct Bronze Green with contrasting Limestone roof and wheels.
The car was originally distributed by Lex Meed Southampton to Exeter where it was registered with a Devon registration, and today it maintains its original 2. 25 engine and gearbox with factory fitted Fairey Overdrive and freewheeling hubs. Fitted with a rare Safari Station Wagon Roof, the car can look handsome no matter the weather, and with the original interior still in great condition it’s a fine place to pass the time.
A welcome modern comfort is included with the fitment of an FM & DAB radio, and the current owner reports the heater is uncharacteristically excellent at keeping the cabin nice and warm in the winter. Retains its original chassis and rear cross members with no signs of previous repairs, and the bulkhead is also in excellent condition with no rot – a traditional problem area for these cars.
The car is available to view in our West London showroom, and could potentially be sold with some spares that are available with the car including its original sized wheels with appropriate tyres.
