1982 Maxi 2 1750 HL 5 Door Hatchback , 40, 000 miles with four recorded keepers , Supplied new by L R Harvey , Leyland Cars , London Road , Sandy . A remarkable survivor of this much loved British family classic . Its red body work is excellent and its contrasting light beige velour interior has stood the test of time . . Having elevated the Maxi upon our lifts its underside is truly superb and I note a full stainless steel exhaust system is fitted . First turn of the key and its 1750 cc motor started well with rattles or blue smoke and a trip round the block found the motor to be responsive and its five speed gear box easy and light to use . There cant be many Maxi, s as original as this and it comes with the Original service book , Supercover literature , "Protectol" rust proofing card , Handbooks and spare keys in the original factory supplied holder . Current V5C and supporting expired MOT certificates complete the history pack .
