Since its inception in 1970, the Range Rover has been acknowledged worldwide as a marvel of British Engineering with most being appreciated daily while others displayed as part of collections including the Musee du Louvre and British Motor Heritage Trust. The first generation of Range Rovers remained in production till 1994 to be nowdays referred to by marque experts and enthusiasts as the 'Classic' MkI series which in 1989 benefited from a significant upgrade with an enlarged 3. 9lt engine that provided ample power in propelling the 2. 5ton body and a smoother Borg Warner chain drive system. Inspired by a bespoke Range Rover prepared for a Vogue magazine photoshoot and Wood & Pickett’s ‘In Vogue’ limited edition, a 'Vogue SE' trim option would be offered by Range Rover that featured a series of comfort and luxury appointments that could well be enveloped by exceptional color and interior combinations, one of which is offered here: Cairngorm Brown metallic body over Sorrell Brown leather interior.
This Vogue SE offered was produced in mid-1988 and features all pertinent upgrades including a full leather interior, sliding sunroof and power seats. In 2014 it was subject to an extensive series of repairs that included overhauling the engine, front end, steering and brakes. Most recently the underbody was attended to with preservation oriented repairs and coating. Regularly maintained at authorized Land Rover center it is now offered fully serviced with regular Greek passenger vehicle registration as well as a FIA certificate for marque classic events.
