Here we have for sale this fabulous 3. 8 Jaguar MK2 restoration project.
Been in John Chatham personal collection for over 30 years but now has made the tough decision to sell. Back in the late 80’s John was at the height of importing cars from The USA back to UK. He found this very original and rust free car in California in 1988 and in his words one of the best rust free examples he has ever seen. The intension was always to restore the car himself. Having bear metal stripped the car and fully painted in midnight blue in around the early 90s. Sadly the car was then shelved and put into dry storage where it has stayed ever since. If you are looking for a perfect donor car that need no welding then this is the car for you. Doors boot and bonnets are all perfect with the original drain holes still in perfect condition.
The car is 90% complete with all major and original parts. Also RHD steering box Come with the original 3. 8 engine that John says was in good running order. Chrome wire wheels and stainless steel exhaust system.
You will honestly not find a better donor car than this, it will save you thousands on fabrication cost during a restoration.
