Launched in 1961 to worldwide acclaim, Jaguar’s new E-Type and its combination of advanced engineering, class-beating performance and breathtaking styling established it as one of the defining sports cars of the twentieth century. By the time the final Series III models appeared in 1971, the E-Type had evolved into a refined and immensely capable grand tourer, powered by Jaguar's magnificent 5. 3-litre V12 engine.
