Motodrome are pleased to offer this 1963 example of the ever-popular Land Rover Series IIa, this one an early IIa petrol narrow-headlight model (with it’s correct early features) 88in finished in Marine Blue with white wheels and a brand-new Exmoor Trim hood ..
This one underwent, in it’s last ownership, significant expenditure including new rear crossmember, outriggers, footwells, carburettor, springs, heater matrix, and 5 new tyres.
Fitted with the correct-period ‘Elephant Hide’ seats (originals not reproductions) Smiths heater, rear mudflaps, and towpack
Currently MOT'd to September 2017 (no advisories) but we're happy to supply it with a fresh 12M MOT on sale if required, it’s original registration number, and of course qualifies for free (historic) road tax.
this is a genuine 1963 model with the correct sills, bulkhead, instrument panel, sprung steering wheel, flat front panel, recessed headlights etc
On test it performed superbly – it’s a really well-sorted series 2a.
