This Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 is an immaculate, very low-mileage example of the iconic Japanese performance car, which remains entirely original and unmodified with just one previous owner.
Under the bonnet is the famous 2. 0-litre turbocharged flat-four boxer engine, producing around 217bhp and driving all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. As a cross-country weapon it is up there with the very best!
The car was purchased by its first owner from Bentleys of Sheffield & Knaresborough on 27 May 1999, and still has its original dealership registration plates and sticker in the windscreen.
As a 1999 model year car, it is fitted with the facelift dashboard, as well as revised bumper design, larger driving lights and additional bonnet vents. It is finished in its original green metallic paint, over a two-tone black and grey fabric-trimmed interior.
It sits on its original 17-inch six-spoke wheels with Pirelli P Zero Nero tyres. Inside, equipment includes electric windows and mirrors, the standard four-spoke Momo steering wheel and original cassette stereo.
It includes its original owner’s manuals, toolkit, jack, wheel brace and space saver wheel, as well as the dealer-supplied registration plates, tax disc holder, business cards and period promotional paperwork with the car from new.
There is also a good file of maintenance receipts and photographs. This is certainly not one to be missed when it comes to the very best of competition-bred 90s performance cars, which are becoming increasingly hard to find in their factory finish without high mileages or any modifications. Its most recent service was in January 2022 at 21, 500 miles, by Adams Brothers who replaced the engine oil, oil filter, sump gasket, screenwash, cambelt, the front brake discs and pads, and the brake fluid. The car had a Waxoyl coating underneath in 2014 and remains in very good condition.
